چکیده
ABSTRACT The Tucana-Horologium association is one of the closest young stellar groups to Sun and despite close proximity its age still debated in literature. We take advantage state-of-the-art astrometry delivered by third data release Gaia space mission combined with precise radial velocity measurements obtained from high-resolution spectroscopy investigate dynamical association. perform an extensive traceback analysis using a combination different samples cluster members, metrics evaluate minimum size past models for galactic potential integrate orbits back time. $38.5^{+1.6}_{-8.0}$ Myr that we derive this paper consistent various estimates isochrone fitting literature (30–50 Myr) reconciles, first time, lithium depletion (∼40 Myr). Our results are independent represent more step towards constructing self-consistent scale Solar neighbourhood based on 3D motion stars.

Adaptive optics imaging survey of the Tucana-Horologium association
We present the results of an adaptive optics (AO) imaging survey of the common associations of Tucana and Horologium, carried out at the ESO 3.6m telescope with the ADONIS/SHARPII system. Based on our observations of two dozen probable association members, HIP 1910 and HIP 108422 appear to have lowmass stellar companions, while HIP 6856 and GSC 8047-0232 have possible sub-stellar candidate comp...
متن کاملNew Members of the Tw Hydrae Association, Pictoris Moving Group, and Tucana/horologium Association
We have identified five new members of the TW Hydrae association (TWA), 11 new members of the Pic moving group, and 11 new Tucana/Horologium association members. These are the three youngest (d30 Myr) known kinematic stellar groups near the Earth. Newly identified Pic group members are located mostly in the northern hemisphere, and they have a slightly different U-component of Galactic velocity...
متن کاملROSAT X-ray Spectral Properties of Nearby Young Associations: TW Hydrae, Tucana-Horologium, and the β Pic Moving Group
We present archival ROSAT data for three recently identified, nearby (D < 70 pc), young (∼ 10−40 Myr) stellar associations: the TW Hydrae Association, the Tucana-Horologium Association, and the β Pic Moving Group. The distributions of ROSAT X-ray hardness ratios (HR1, HR2) for these three groups, whose membership is dominated by low-mass, weak-lined T Tauri stars, are tightly clustered and very...
متن کاملConstraining the Lifetime of Circumstellar Disks in the Terrestrial Planet Zone: A Mid-IR Survey of the 30-Myr-old Tucana-Horologium Association
We have conducted an N-band survey of 14 young stars in the ∼30 Myr-old Tucana-Horologium Association to search for evidence of warm, circumstellar dust disks. Using the MIRAC-BLINC camera on the Magellan I (Baade) 6.5-m telescope, we find that none of the stars have a statistically significant N-band excess compared to the predicted stellar photospheric flux. Using three different sets of assu...
